The spider then returns all that information back to a central depository, where the data is indexed. It will visit each link you have on your website and index those sites as well. <h3 style="text-align: center;">5 Easy Ways To Make Money OFFLINE From Local Businesses! </h3><h4 style="text-align: center;">No Technical Skills Needed - NO SEO Work Involved - NO Setting Up Auto-responders! </h4><div style="text-align: justify;">I wrote this report because many of my students ask me about the different types of services that they can offer offline local businesses that do NOT involve your typical SEO services or setting up auto-responders ("Cash Cow" Method). <br />This report was designed to give you an 'out of the box' perspective on how you can charge local offline businesses for general "Internet Marketing" services, but specifically not SEO services or setting up auto-responders. <br />I have had a lot of success performing various Internet marketing services for offline businesses. <br />Here are the 5 "Simple Methods" that you can use to make easy money from local offline businesses. <br />Simple Method #1: <br />One simple thing you can do is offer article marketing services to a local business. You can explain to them the benefits of article marketing, such as the traffic it can potentially bring their website, the leads it could generate for them, the SEO benefits of having back links from articles, etc. <br />If you are an article writer, you might be getting anywhere from $1.50 <br />-$17+ per article online, but most freelancers get about $3-7 per article on average. <br />However, when you offer article marketing for offline businesses (to promote their business and/or their website) -- you can charge A LOT I have gotten anywhere from $25-50 per article from offline businesses and they are more than happy with the results. Plus, most businesses will want you to write 10-20 per month for them once you explain how article marketing really works. If you can't write an article to save your life...you can always outsource to an online freelancer that produces quality work. Heck, even if you paid a freelancer $10 per article you would still bank a very nice profit! <br />Simple Method #2: <br />Another method of making some easy money in the offline local business world, is to offer blog creation services to local businesses. A blog is super simple (and FREE) to create. You do not have to have any technical knowledge whatsoever. I recommend using http://www.Blogger.com because they are owned by Google, so you know that it will rank nicely on Google's search engine! <br />You can actually log in using your existing Google account if you have a Gmail account or any Google account. It's the same username and password as your Gmail account. Or, you can create an account for free. <br />Make sure you create the domain name of the blog to be the nameof your client's businesses. It will come out looking like this "YourClientsBusiness.Blogspot.com" in case you don't know already. <br />The main purpose of the blog is going to be an additional source of traffic for your client's business. It will also link back to their main website, giving them a valuable back link which is helpful for SEO(search engine optimization).A blog is basically a website, but with more bells and whistles. They Targeted traffic = leads = customers. That is why having a blog is important for your client. Also, nowadays people love blogs and they love reading other peoples'/businesses' blogs.   <br />Most major companies and multimillion dollar businesses have blogs...so why shouldn't your client? <--- This can serve as a great selling point when pitching this to businesses. <br />As far as how much to charge an offline business for creating a blog (or multiple blogs) for them -- It's really up to you! <br />Some people enjoy the concept of charging low prices for this service and getting more clients because of it. For example, if you charge only $100 bucks for this, you might be able to do 5 or 6 in a week easy. That's $500-600 a week ($2,000+ per month) which is a great living for many people. <br />Others would rather charge more (like $499+) for a custom blog and they would rather have less clients. Instead of needing to get 5clients to make $500, they only need to get ONE! <br />I like both of those concepts and both have worked for me before, so again, it's really up to you. <br />Simple Method #3: <br />The 3rd method of making easy cash from offline businesses is to offer Myspace/Facebook page creation services. EVERY big name business nowadays has a Myspace page or a Facebook page which is a great selling point for this service. <br />Once you explain the benefits of social networking, building Granted, a lot of businesses might already have one or they know how to set it up...but many will not. These are the ones you must find and then offer to create one for them. <br />Some businesses might have a Myspace page but not a Facebook, or vice versa. Some businesses might need you to "pimp" their Myspace page. <br />You can charge anywhere from $50-100 EASILY to set-up a Myspace or Facebook page for a local offline business. How many of these do you think you can do in a week?! <br />Plus, it should only take an hour at most (more like 15 minutes!) to set up one of these pages for your client, so the labor involved is not difficult at all, therefore $100 is worth it. <br />If you can charge more and you feel like it's appropriate then by all means, do it! <br />Simple Method #4: <br />This method involves a little bit more work, but not much. Many businesses could benefit GREATLY from having Craigslist ads posted for them once a week or once a day even. <br />Craigslist gets over 10 million visitors a day! This can obviously be a great selling point for this service. Once a business owner hears that and confirm it (if they need to), you will be able to charge them for this service with no problem. <br />You can package together different options, such as "5 Craigslist Ads Per Week for $XX" or "One month of Craigslist advertising <br /><br />I think $10 per ad is fair for offline businesses (considering they pay the Yellow Pages and other advertising companies MUCH more money!). If you do 5 a week for them, that's $50 a week which comes out to $200 per month, from just one client. It should only take about 5 minutes or so to post a Craigslist ad for someone, it is not difficult at all. <br />Simple Method #5: <br />Last but not least, we are going to discuss a method that makes some people a LOT of money! I know a guy who manages the PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising campaign for a BIG NAME security company and he makes serious money. We're talking 5 figures a month. <br />Of course, we are not going after that just yet! However, there is plenty of easy money to be made in the setting up of a business's PPC campaign. I am sure many of you who are reading this have already tried PPC advertising at one time or another. If you haven't, all you have to do is set up a free account at http://www.Adwords.Google.com and set up a starter campaign with a very small and affordable budget. I suggest somewhere around $5-10 per day. By using this FREE keyword tool located at: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal -- you can plug in your main keywords that your client's business wants to target (For example: "Tuxedo Rentals in Las Vegas"). <br />The keyword tool will bring up related keyword phrases and show you how many times each keyword/phrase gets searched for per month. It will also show you how much advertiser competition there is for each keyword! <br />Of course, you will want to select the keywords that get a decent When you are in Google Adwords setting up a PPC account, they will also offer many keyword suggestions. <br />You will not be the one to maintain and manage their PPC campaign unless you know what you're doing and/or have previous experience with this type of work. <br />However, what you can do, is tell them what PPC advertising is all about and see if they are interested in giving it a shot. It is after all, away to get on top of Google for certain keywords really quickly. Advertising is the most important expense of any business and in my experience, most business owners are more than willing to give PPC advertising a shot. The Yellow Pages charges $2,000 a month for their 'Google' type listing!!!! If your client wants to target local key words, then this will be much more affordable for them. <br />To set up their PPC campaign, you can charge anywhere from $100­$500+ depending on how knowledgeable you are, how good you are at keyword research and what you feel comfortable charging. As long as you are willing to for the work for X amount of money, and your client is willing to pay X amount of money...the deal is fair and it is a win-win situation for both parties. <br />Combining All 5 Steps: <br />You can also come up with a package that includes ALL 5 of the "simple methods" described above. It would look something like this: <br />-Article Marketing<br />-Blog and Squidoo Lens Creation<br />-Myspace/Facebook Creation<br />- Craigslist Advertising -Setup PPC Campaign <br />This whole package combined could be worth a nice chunk of change. You can charge $500 or more for this package easily. Writing and submitting keyword optimized articles toEzineArticles.com or GoArticles.com is also 100% FREE and that is all it takes to make money with a blog. Many big name marketers and Warriors use this method to make tons of money...and the more articles they have out there, the more money they make. If you choose to outsource articles, this would be an expense and it could cost you anywhere from $2 - $12per article for quality articles from a freelance writer. <br />OK, that was just the gist of it. Let me give you more elaborate details and instructions so that you can start doing this right away. <br />Step 1 would be to sign up as an affiliate with Clickbank.com. <---At this link, you can sign up as an affiliate for FREE, right away. Then, you can browse the marketplace for niches and products that you want to promote! All you have to do is click the small link at the top of the page that says "Marketplace." <br />The products over at Clickbank.com are "digital" products. A digital product is either an eBook or a software application. The reason why they are called digital products is because they can be downloaded immediately after purchase and there is no need for shipping or sending a physical product. An 'eBook' as most of you know (but remember this report is for complete newbies), is a book that can be read right from your computer screen and can be downloaded immediately after purchase. You can also print it out to read it if you prefer, or use one of those new electronic eBook reading devices. <br /><br />The great thing about the products on the Clickbank.com marketplace, is that they offer stunningly high commissions to their affiliates (you). Most of them offer a 75% commission! If you were promoting an eBook that is $47,in the Weight Loss niche or the Make Money Online niche, you would earn $32.50 for every copy you sell. The best part is, you don't even have to sell them the eBook...the sales page that the product creator made will do that for you. All you have to do is refer people to your 'affiliate link.' <br />An 'affiliate link' is the link that is provided to you, so that you can promote a particular product (of your choice). This link will take the customer to the same EXACT page that the product creator uses to sell the product, but it will have YOUR affiliate ID in the URL. Your affiliate ID will be the username that you select for your Clickbank account. Here is an example of an affiliate link: <br />http://YourAffiliateID.ProductName.Hop.Clickbank.Net <br />Of course, "YourAffiliateID" is replaced with your actual username and the "Product Name" is the code name that the product owner made for that product. You won't need to be guessing any codes though, all you have to do is click on the link that says "Create Hoplink" located underneath the listing of the product that you wish to promote -- on the Clickbank Marketplace. After you select the category and subcategory you will be taken to a page full of listings of products to promote. You can view the product price, the commission percentage, and the gravity. The gravity is how many people (affiliates) earned a commission on that product in the past one or two week pay period. You can also view the sales page, which is where your affiliate link will send people. <br />The magic of your affiliate link is that it takes the customer to the same destination they would go to if they hadn't been referred by you. The only difference is that since your affiliate code is hidden within the link...you earn the commission and the money shows up right in your Clickbank That's where the review blog comes in. If you write product reviews of three Books on Clickbank, post them on your blog and then include your affiliate link at the bottom of the review. A certain percentage of people who visit your blog and read the reviews will click on your affiliate link. Out of those people, a certain percentage of people will actually purchase the Book once they visit the link. A common conversion rate is 2%. So, out of every 50 visitors to your affiliate link, you should have 1 purchase. That would net you $32.50. It is very easy to get 50 visitors to your blog and even much more. <br />Step 2 would be to sign up with Blogger.com. <---At this link, you can sign up for Blogger.com for FREE --and start creating as many blogs as you want, right away. You can be up and running in just minutes. If you don't have a Google Mail account already (Gmail, Adwords, Adsense) you will have to create one, but that is 100% free. Then, you will proceed to the "Create a Blog" section, by clicking on the "Create a Blog" link. <br />Here you will create a name for your blog as well as a domain name. The domain name will be the web address that people type into their browser to get to your blog site. Depending on the product(s) that you are promoting. <br />Step 3 would be to go back to the Clickbank.com Marketplace and choose a product or products to promote. Here you can pick a category and even a sub-category. For instance, a popular niche is "Health and Fitness" and the most popular sub-category of the Health and Fitness market is "Diet." <br />Step 4 would be to write a product review about the product you choose to market. Remember, you are marketing a product here...the product is already made. <br />It is your job to find the people who want/need the information you are offering --and then give it to them. They will buy it if/when the sales pitch sells itself. <br />But, you do NOT have to give or write the sales pitch...the sales page for the product you're promoting will have one already -- Most likely written by a professional sales copywriter. All you need to do is guide people there, If you can not write a product review to save your own life, you can easily outsource it to someone on the warrior forum. A freelance writer would not charge too much for a product review for a Clickbank product. You can expect to pay anywhere from $3 - $20 for a custom written product review, depending on the writer and the word count of the review. <br />Step 5 would be to add your affiliate link to the bottom of the product review. It can be a short review, something like 250-500 words or more if you wish. At the end, you can give a strong "Call to action" so that the reader will be compelled to click on your affiliate link. Years ago, Black hat SEO consisted of throwing up pages with a keyword or phrase repeated hundreds of times. As search engines became more advanced, so did their spam detection. We evolved to more advanced techniques that included throwing random sentences together with the main keyword sprinkled around. Now the search engines had a far more difficult time determining if a page was spam or not. In recent years however, computing power has increased allowing search engines a far better understanding of the relationship between words and phrases. The result of this is an evolution in content generation. Content generators now must be able to identify and group together related words and phrases in such a way as to blend into natural speech. </span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">One of the more commonly used text spinners is known as Markov. Markov isn't actually intended for content generation, it's actually something called a Markov Chain which was developed by mathematician Andrey Markov. The algorithm takes each word in a body of content and changes the order based on the algorithm. This produces largely unique text, but it's also typically VERY unreadable. The quality of the output really depends on the quality of the input. The other issue with Markov is the fact that it will likely never pass a human review for readability. If you don't shuffle the Markov chains enough you also run into duplicate content issues because of the nature of shingling as discussed earlier. Some people may be able to get around this by replacing words in the content with synonyms. I personally stopped using Markov back in 2006 or 2007 after developing my own proprietary content engine. So what works today? Now and in the future, LSI is becoming more and more important. LSI stands for Latent Semantic Indexing. It sounds complicated, but it really isn't. LSI is basically just a process by which a search engine can infer the meaning of a page based on the content of that page. For example, lets say they index a page and find words like atomic bomb, Manhattan Project, Germany, and Theory of Relativity. The idea is that the search engine can process those words, find relational data and determine that the page is about Albert Einstein. So, ranking for a keyword phrase is no longer as simple as having content that talks about and repeats the target keyword phrase over and over like the good old days. Now we need to make sure we have other key phrases that the search engine thinks are related to the main key phrase. </span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">This brings up the subject of duplicate content. I decided to spend some time doing research to find out exactly what goes on behind the scenes. Here is what I have discovered. Most people are under the assumption that duplicate content is looked at on the page level when in fact it is far more complex than that. Simply saying that “by changing 25 percent of the text on a page it is no longer duplicate content” is not a true or accurate statement. Lets examine why that is. To gain some understanding we need to take a look at the k-shingle algorithm that may or may not be in use by the major search engines (my money is that it is in use). I’ve seen the following used as an example so lets use it here as well. Let’s suppose that you have a page that contains the following text: </span></span></span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><br /></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>The swift brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. </b></span></span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><br /></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">Before we get to this point the search engine has already stripped all tags and HTML from the page leaving just this plain text behind for us to take a look at. The shingling algorithm essentially finds word groups within a body of text in order to determine the uniqueness of the text. The first thing they do is strip out all stop words like and, the, of, to. They also strip out all fill words, leaving us only with action words which are considered the core of the content. Once this is done the following “shingles” are created from the above text. (I'm going to include the stop words for simplicity) </span></span></span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><br /></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><b>The swift brown fox swift brown fox jumped brown fox jumped over fox jumped over the jumped over the lazy over the lazy dog</b></span></span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><br /></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">These are essentially like unique fingerprints that identify this block of text. The search engine can now compare this “fingerprint” to other pages in an attempt to find duplicate content. As duplicates are found a “duplicate content” score is assigned to the page. Thus it is unlikely that these two documents are duplicates of one another. No one but Google knows what the percentage match must be for these two documents to be considered duplicates, but some thorough testing would sure narrow it down ;). So what can we take away from the above examples? First and foremost we quickly begin to realize that duplicate content is far more difficult than saying “document A and document B are 50 percent similar”. Second we can see that people adding “stop words” and “filler words” to avoid duplicate content are largely wasting their time. It’s the “action” words that should be the focus. Changing action words without altering the meaning of a body of text may very well be enough to get past these algorithms. Then again there may be other mechanisms at work that we can’t yet see rendering that impossible as well. I suggest experimenting and finding what works for you in your situation. </span></span></span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">The last paragraph here is the real important part when generating content. You can't simply add generic stop words here and there and expect to fool anyone. Remember, we're dealing with a computer algorithm here, not some supernatural power. Everything you do should be from the standpoint of a scientist. Think through every decision using logic and reasoning. There is no magic involved in SEO, just raw data and numbers. Always split test and perform controlled experiments. </span></span></span></span></span></div>

There are many legitimate reasons to Cloak pages. In fact, even Google cloaks. Have you ever visited a web site with your cell phone and been automatically directed to the mobile version of the site? Guess what, that's cloaking. How about web pages that automatically show you information based on your location? Guess what, that's cloaking. So, based on that, we can break cloaking down into two main categories, user agent cloaking and ip based cloaking (IP Delivery). </span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="font-weight: normal; margin-bottom: 0cm; text-decoration: none;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: small;">User Agent cloaking is simply a method of showing different pages or different content to visitors based on the user agent string they visit the site with. A user agent is simply an identifier that every web browser and search engine spider sends to a web server when they connect to a page. Above we used the example of a mobile phone. These ip addresses resolve to dns servers which in turn identify the origin of that visitor. Every search engine crawler must identify itself with a unique signature viewable by reverse dns lookup. This means we have a sure fire method for identifying and cloaking based on ip address. This also means that we don't rely on the user agent at all, so there is no way to circumvent ip based cloaking (although some caution must be taken as we will discuss). The most difficult part of ip cloaking is compiling a list of known search engine ip's. Luckily software like </span></span></span></span><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><u><span style="font-weight: normal;">Blog Cloaker </span></u></span></span></span><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">and </span></span></span></span><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><u><span style="font-weight: normal;">SSEC </span></u></span></span></span><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">already do this for us. Once we have that information, we can then show different pages to different users based on the ip they visit our page with. For example, I can show a search engine bot a keyword targeted page full of key phrases related to what I want to rank for. When a human visits that same page I can show an ad, or an affiliate product so I can make some money. See the power and potential here? </span></span></span></span></span></div><div align="JUSTIFY" style="margin-bottom: 0cm;"><span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="color: black;"><span style="text-decoration: none;"><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-weight: normal;">So how can we detect ip cloaking? Every major search engine maintains a cache of the pages it indexes. This cache is going to contain the page as the search engine bot saw it at indexing time. This means your competition can view your cloaked page by clicking on the cache in the SERPS. That's ok, it's easy to get around that. The use of the meta tag noarchive in your pages forces the search engines to show no cached copy of your page in the search results, so you avoid snooping web masters. The only other method of detection involves ip spoofing, but that is a very difficult and time consuming thing to pull of. Basically you configure a computer to act as if it is using one of Google's ip's when it visits a page. This would allow you to connect as though you were a search engine bot, but the problem here is that the data for the page would be sent to the ip you are spoofing which isn't on your computer, so you are still out of luck. The lesson here? If you are serious about this, use ip cloaking. It is very difficult to detect and by far the most solid option. </span></span></span></span></span></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">Another method of communication used by blogs, trackbacks are basically a method in which one blog can tell another blog that it has posted something related to or in response to an existing blog post. As a black hat, we see that as an opportunity to inject links to thousands of our own pages by automating the process and sending out trackbacks to as many blogs as we can. Most blogs these days have software in place that greatly limits or even eliminates trackback spam, but it's still a viable tool. The real key is to blend in and avoid being caught by spam filters. To do that, you need to actually post content related to the original post.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">SSEC automates this by searching for blogs directly related to each of your keyword pages. Once found, the software posts a trackback with related content and a link back to your page. Methods like this avoid spam detection and also give you a nice themed link. Now change your google settings to show 100 links per page. Copy and paste that url into the form on the dashboard and you just entered 100 spammable message board url's.
